CAD MicroSolutions is excited to welcome a group of enthusiastic interns this summer. We will dedicate this blog post to getting to know these talented individuals – who are ready to engage in learning, innovation, and collaboration.

Summer is a season of growth, and here at CAD MicroSolutions, we’re thrilled to welcome a cohort of bright and ambitious interns ready to embark on a journey of learninginnovation, and collaboration. Let’s meet some of the talented individuals who have joined us this summer: 

 

Sarah: Embracing Innovation in Business Administration

Sarah, a student at Toronto Metropolitan University, brings her passion for creativity and innovation to CAD Micro as she pursues her studies in Creative Industries.

In her second summer with us, Sarah is delving into the realm of business administration, contributing her skills to various projects. At CAD Micro, she finds herself immersed in a dynamic environment where learning never ceases. From exposure to cutting-edge technologies to collaborating with a supportive team, Sarah thrives in an atmosphere that encourages growth and exploration. Her journey at CAD Micro is not just about gaining professional experience but also about being part of a community that inspires her to push boundaries and strive for excellence.

Nicholas: Engineering in the Future with SolidWorks

With a passion for aerospace engineering, Nicolas is ready to soar to new heights at CAD Micro.Completing his second year of studies at Toronto Metropolitan University, Nicolas is gearing up to specialize in aircraft design. His internship at CAD Micro offers him the opportunity to dive deep into SolidWorks support, simulation, and metrology work – areas that align perfectly with his academic pursuits. Eager to explore innovative projects and contribute to the team’s success, Nicolas is excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.

Joseph: Driving Innovation in Additive Manufacturing

Hailing from Crestwood Preparatory College and currently studying mechanical engineering and automotive product design at St. Clair College, Joseph is set to make waves in the field of additive manufacturing. His summer internship involves a range of tasks, from operating 3D printers to optimizing workflow processes. Joseph is excited to contribute to the additive manufacturing team, leveraging his skills to drive productivity and innovation. At CAD Micro, he sees endless possibilities for growth and development, fueled by a shared commitment to excellence and collaboration. 

“I am very excited to be working here and I look forward to building a mutually beneficial relationship between myself and the CAD Micro team.”

He was a guest speaker at the CAD Micro Technology Readiness day event,  discussing how the program at CTMA works. The program provides non-repayable contributions to eligible employers to subsidize the wages of new hires or the upskilling of existing employees that meet the program’s eligibility criteria
