Mary Ann looks after the GTA West Area of the Business Development Bank of Canada, BDC (Canada’s Bank for Entrepreneurs).  In this role, she leads a team of professionals dedicated to serving Canadian businesses through financing, advisory services, and venture capital. Mary Ann is also the Executive Sponsor for Ontario Region’s Manufacturing Strategy which supports the complex and dynamic needs of entrepreneurs in advanced manufacturing. With almost three decades of experience in Ontario’s manufacturing corridor, her support is unwavering to fostering growth and innovation for the unique needs of this sector. Her background includes working closely in the automotive and aerospace sectors.

GLOBAL HEAD OF SOFTWARE AND DATA, HP PERSONALIZATION AND 3D PRINTING
Arvind leads product management, strategy, engineering, and R&D for the software organization at HP. He joined from HP Labs where he worked as its 3D Chief Technologist. Prior to HP, Arvind spent 15 years of his career at GE where he worked in Renewable Energy and Research organizations to develop innovative solutions for products that leverage additive manufacturing including polymer, metal, and sand binder jet technologies. He also spent time at Xerox PARC working on a cloud based distributed manufacturing platform for US DoD. Arvind holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He has over 20 patents and 10 publications.

Starting his career as a carbon composites engineer, he transitioned to management and process consulting and now brings a decade of factory floor experience to the additive manufacturing segment.

With expertise in provincial and federal programs, she specializes in Agri-Food, Advanced Manufacturing, Mining, and Consumer Products. Chi's background in environment, business, and government policies, coupled with a focus on ESG, allows her to strategically align clients' growth initiatives with funding opportunities. As a trusted advisor, she leads Deloitte's internal delivery team in meeting stringent government deadlines and has successfully managed complex funding engagements, driving business growth.

Formerly a public servant with Government of Ontario, Garen developed and adjudicated grant programs before transitioning to the private sector. Leveraging his expertise, he now helps companies align their initiatives with government priorities, optimizing success rates. As a Public Policy professional, Garen supports companies in various areas including R&D, capital investments, hiring, training, and market expansion. He collaborates with clients and funding bodies across multiple provinces, enhancing their strategic decisions.

Tom joined Wazer in the early stages of the company to support the global sales and marketing of the Wazer product line. With over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, Tom has developed a deep expertise in plastics, bearings, gears, motion control, power transmission, and MRO products. Leading sales teams for manufacturers in multiple industry sectors such as Oil & Gas, Automotive OEM, Medical Device and other general industrial sectors, Tom has expertise in a broad range of manufacturing environments.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, CTMA
Robert Cattle began his tool & die apprenticeship in 1976 while working at MicroMetric Ltd. and attending George Brown College, receiving his papers in 1981. He now has 48 years of experience working in the precision metalworking industry as a tool & die maker/precision machinist, shop owner and association director. Robert served as a volunteer on the CTMA’s Board of Directors from 2002 to 2014 in various positions, and was hired as the Executive Director of the Canadian Tooling & Machining Association (CTMA) in 2014 and continues in that position today. Robert is passionate about exposing youth and jobseekers to career opportunities within the precision metalworking industry and has been actively involved in creating initiatives such as the “Introductory Trades Training Program”, the “CNC Machinist – Level 1” program and the current series of Career-Ready with CTMA: Expanding Opportunities programs.

Adam has worked with a diverse range of AM equipment manufacturers and technologies, including FDM, SLA, Polyjet, Binder Jetting, and LPBF. For the past three years, he has focused on the North American market at TRUMPF, a leading global player in metal 3D printing and laser technology. Adam has held positions in sales, applications, and industry management, demonstrating a well-rounded understanding of the AM landscape.
