What is SOLIDWORKS SkillForce Program?

The SOLIDWORKS SkillForce Program is a new initiative that provides eligible student interns with:
  • A free license of 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS Premium or SOLIDWORKS Premium with Cloud Services (for the duration of the internship)
  • A free CSWA (Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate) certification voucher if they don’t already have it
  • Access to learning resources to help them upskill quickly
  • Licensing and support managed by CAD Micro now , your authorized SOLIDWORKS reseller in Canada
This program is available to students enrolled in a recognized post-secondary institution who have secured a 3- or 6-month internship with a commercial business.

Who’s Eligible?

To participate in the SkillForce Program, the student must:

  • Be currently enrolled in a recognized college, university, or technical institute
  • Be 18 years of age or above
  • Be hired for a formal internship
  • Hold a SOLIDWORKS CAD Design Certification (CSWA or CSWP)
    • *If you have not obtained a certification, indicate this during your application and SOLIDWORKS will send you a single-use voucher for a FREE CSWA exam, and you can reapply for the SOLIDWORKS SkillForce Program after receiving the certification
  • Apply through SOLIDWORKS or CAD Micro and name your company as their employer
  • Be verified by the SOLIDWORKS team

Once verified, CAD Micro will provide the software license and support for the intern through the duration of the internship.
