Agile Design Made Practical Using Cloud Collaboration

Starts: January 21, 2021 at 13:00 Ends: January 21, 2021 at 14:00

Virtual and Rapid Prototyping, unleash the smart combined solution.

Experts from CAD Micro and Cortex Design will walk you through the steps of agile product development, verification, and validation using the unique synergy of Virtual & Rapid prototyping (Simulation & 3D printing) within SolidWorks cloud-based design platform. Simulations will cover assessments based on final material and properties of components while 3D printed prototypes help to perform development assessments (fit & form, look & feel functional testing).

In this webinar our experts will highlight:

  • Product, User & Regulatory requirement management, Traceability (Brain Storming, Requirement, Research, Concept design, Assessment, Production and Detailed  Design, Production)
  • Agile and Integrated Design and Development platform
  • Structural integrity and Dynamics (SolidWorks sim)
  • Drop Test (SIMULIAworks, ABAQUS)
  • Electromagnetics Considerations (EMI/EMC, Antenna design and placement, …)
  • Airflow & Thermal considerations
  • Plastics and injection molding considerations (plastics)
  • Optimization
  • Comparing Cloud and On-premises Costs for HPC

Emmanuel LEROUX

SIMULIA Sales Expert Director, Dassault Systèmes

Emmanuel received his Ph.D. (Summa Cum Laude) in Electronics in 1998 at the University of Lille in France working together with Politecnico di Torino in Italy on the topic: “Implementation and validation of a method to predict the radiated emissions from Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and attached cables”. In 1994, he joined High Design Technology (HDT) as PCB Signal Integrity Applications Engineer. In 2000, he joined Computer Simulation Technology (CST) in Darmstadt as an Applications Engineer. In 2001, he opened the CST office in Italy and from 2005 was CST Country Manager for Italy, Israel, Turkey, responsible for Sales, Support and Marketing pushing Electromagnetic Design/Simulation/Optimization 3D Software CST STUDIO. After the acquisition of CST by Dassault Systèmes (3DS), he led the 3DS SIMULATION Brand Center of Excellence (CoE) team in the Southeast Mediterranean cluster expanding also on other domains like Structural Analysis, CFD, Noise, and Vibration. He was the SIMULIA GEO Sales Leader for this area both for direct and indirect Sales from 2018 until 2020. From 2021 he is using his expertise to push CST STUDIO product through the Solidworks network at the WW level.
